I strongly denounce the mockery of Josh Aquino, a person with disability, in a recent podcast episode.  I urge the National Council on Disability Affairs to coordinate with the appropriate government agencies to probe this incident, determine whether any provisions of the Magna Carta for Persons with Disability (RA 7277, as amended by RA 9442) were violated, and pursue appropriate action to hold to account parties responsible for the incident.

Hindi natin dapat palagpasin ang anumang uri ng pangungutya, pang-aapi, at pang-aabuso sa ating mga kababayan, may kapansanan man o wala. Karapatan ng lahat na mabuhay nang may dignidad at malaya sa diskriminasyon.
