I welcome the appointment of Kim Robert De Leon as the new Secretary of the Department of Budget and Management. Having worked closely with him during his tenure at the Department of Transportation, I can attest to his sharp intellect and absolute mastery of the numbers. His solid track record in managing intricate agency budgets makes him exceptionally well-equipped to lead the DBM in steering the country’s fiscal priorities.

I also want to thank outgoing DBM Acting Secretary Rolando Toledo for his dedicated service. I am confident that he will bring the same level of dedication and excellence to his new assignment at the Government Service Insurance System.
