This is to clarify statements previously made by Senator Win Gatchalian regarding the intelligence fund of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

In a recent radio interview, the Senator cited the PNP’s intelligence fund for 2026 as P1.5 billion, while in a press release, it was stated as P1.159 billion.

Upon verification, the correct amount of the PNP’s intelligence fund for 2026 is P813 million.
