Valenzuela City Congressman Win Gatchalian has urged the public to end the ongoing sexual discrimination on lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender (LGBT) at work.
Gatchalian, who is a member of House Committee on Trade and Industry, reminded employers to stop considering gender in measuring productivity, but rather from their labor evaluation base on results and work attitude.

It should never be the case,” he stressed.
The lawmaker made the call when asked to react on issues involving LGBT groups, following a ruling of the United States Supreme Court recently that upheld the legality of same-sex marriage.
For his part, Gatchalian said laborers should not hinder their co-workers from become more productive just because they have different sexual orientation. (Tim Alcantara)
