“As we observe the National Awareness Week for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, I urge our law enforcers to strengthen their crackdown on different forms of child trafficking, including the online sexual abuse and exploitation of children (OSAEC). 

This entails the effective utilization of funds allotted under the 2026 national budget, which includes P119.2 million for Anti-Trafficking in Persons, and P111.5 million allotted for the National Coordination Center Against OSAEC and Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials (CSAEM). Hindi na natin pahihintulutan ang ganitong malupit na pang-aabuso at karahasan laban sa kabataang Pilipino.”
