I thank President Marcos for signing into law the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA) and the Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act (AFASA). As a co-author of these measures, I firmly believe that these laws will bring about significant positive changes in the country. 

The NGPA will create a more transparent and accountable public procurement system, reducing corruption and boosting investor confidence by ensuring equal opportunities for all bidders. The AFASA will protect Filipinos’ bank and e-wallet accounts by requiring financial institutions to implement essential safeguards and empowering the BSP to investigate certain financial crimes. 

Patuloy nating isusulong ang mga batas na magtitiyak na nagagamit nang wasto ang pera ng taongbayan at magbibigay ng mas ligtas na sistema para protektahan ang pinaghirapang pera ng ating mga mamamayan.
